Willow Tree, 2025 / Artist: Richard Lawrence

Richard Lawrence is a sculptor and printmaker based in Deptford SE London.

He has fulfilled a series of public commissions, made sculptures on

International Symposiums and residencies. He continues to exhibit widely.

His practice is carving and constructing in wood now often incorporating

colour. Drawing has always been important but that 2dimensional element is

now mainly expressed in his printmaking, woodcuts.

There is a narrative to his work in both the sculptures and prints. A keen

concern for the environment and a love of animals and nature.
