Artist words about her work: "Real and imaginary landscapes and memories of travel mix with personal

stories and explorations of nature in my paintings and drawings.

I have lived by the Thames for most of my life. The power of water, the rise

and fall of tides, the depth and strength of the currents and the changing light,

colour and atmosphere all fascinate me. Walking along the foreshore reveals

half hidden mysterious objects and structures that hint at layers of the city’s

history. I work with intuition, building up acrylic paint layers, sometimes

drawing into the images with ink, oil pastels and pencil on the Nepalese paper."
