The gallery and art studio of painter, filmmaker and curator Aleksandra Niemczyk presents exhibitions of Blackheath, London and international artists. Situated opposite Hare and Billet Pond on the southwest corner of the heath, we invite you to drop by and enjoy our latest exhibition as an art lover or collector, or to pick out a unique gift.
Through groups and solo shows, artist residencies, pop up installations, open studio events, art workshops and more, Gallery White Box presents contemporary, vibrant, relevant and sometimes unconventional voices. Gallery White Box is presenting a winter exhibition and a Christmas shop of original artworks at its South East London space from December 12 to January 12.
Gallery White Box is a short walk across the heath from Greenwich Park, and this final show of 2025 presents a variety of contemporary paintings, prints, sculptures, and kinetic works embracing art brut, abstract expressionism, and make-believe landscapes. Works are available to view or purchase, and the gallery will also host a pair of workshops exploring the intersection of colour, painting, and psychodynamics led by Christa Leask and Hannah Simons.
“Altogether, we believe it will be an inspiring chance to brighten the colder days, to find a Christmas gift for the art-lover in your life, or to embolden your home collection in the new year,” says the gallery’s curator, Aleksandra Niemczyk.
The winter show will offer a chance to revisit artists who’ve exhibited at the gallery in 2025, including Kathleen Taylor, Amabel Barlow, Aleksandra Niemczyk, and Andrea Resner, and to look ahead to artists who will exhibit in 2026, like Richard Lawrence, Steve Joy, Belinda Smith, and Louise Sheridan. Artists like Susan Dodd, who are well-known from across the years of Gallery White Box, will have work in the show, as will newer friends, including Java Bere, Christa Leask, and Monica Chrysostomou.
A visit to witness the show in person (a few doors down from the Hare & Billet Pub) is highly recommended, but many of the works are also available to purchase online at gallerywhitebox.co.uk/art-shop.
The workshops can also be booked via the gallery’s website
(gallerywhitebox.co.uk/workshops), and you may catch a glimpse of the show on Instagram at

Wishing all our friends, supporters, artists, and neighbours an inspiring and peaceful festive season,
Aleksandra & Graeme, Gallery White Box team.
Vibrant program of art exhibitions and very helpful expertise for anyone who is looking for an art piece for their collection.
